This project at Westminster University, completed in coordination with Sodexo, highlights the technical precision required for high-traffic commercial tile installation. The installation features an expansive floor layout centered around a unique, large-scale curved design that flows through the main concourse. By utilizing water jet cut custom tile, our team achieved seamless, radius-edge transitions between contrasting materials, ensuring a level of geometric accuracy that traditional field-cutting cannot provide. This project serves as a clear example of our ability to execute complex architectural patterns while meeting the durability and safety standards required for high-occupancy institutional environments.
The Westminster University project, completed for Sodexo, showcases our expertise in high-demand commercial tile installation. The scope included the precise layout of large format tile in primary corridors, using advanced leveling systems to ensure a perfectly flat, lippage-free finish. Complementing the floor design, custom wall tile was installed throughout the facility.
For the high-utility back of house and kitchen areas, we installed heavy-duty quarry tile to provide superior slip resistance and impact durability. To ensure long-term hygiene and structural resilience, the entire installation was finished with high-performance epoxy grout. This non-porous solution creates an impenetrable barrier against chemicals and bacteria, meeting the strict industrial standards required for food service environments.
